I took my truck into a Brake Check and a Goodyear some six months back or so. They both preached that I needed to change my brakes out immediately. Took it to Slater's today and had my alignment done. Also asked Mike if he would check the brakes as well. Mike Kule at the desk was honest and told me I had 10-15% left. Cool waiting room with very nice admin. They no longer do routine oil changes, but if you have time they will go buy oil and change it for you. For inspection and oil change; If you leave your vehicle before lunch, plan to pickup towards closing. Great service and people if you're not in a hurry.

Absolutely wonderful!!! I took my car to Slater's after being told by another mechanic that my car was on its last leg and to fix it, it would cost me upwards of $1600. Slater personally took me into the garage and showed me what the other mechanics were saying verses what was true. The price to fix what was actually wrong was less than half of the other guys and that included an alignment and an oil change with a high mileage filter. This is a mechanic you can trust, he will show you what he is doing and why and how to maintain your vehicle properly! More than 5 stars!!!!

I took my 2011 E Class Mercedes Benz to them to install my daytime running lights. Mr. Slater only charged me $20. My turn up on my Mercedes Benz car will be under $400 . Mr. Slater uses nothing but Mercedes Benz parts if that's what you want to go back on your car he uses the manufactory part. The labor is so much cheaper then going to a Mercedes-Benz dealership and you'll get the same quality work with qualify warranty.

I've been going to Slater's Auto Work's for several years now for all my car repairs. I have always found them to do good quality work. They are not the cheapest, no good place ever is. But they will stand behind everything that they do. They have always been very friendly and willing to help get your vehicle back to you as soon as possible. If you have to wait on a repair they have a nice comfortable waiting room, with clean rest rooms. And if you need a ride home when you drop your vehicle off, they will do that. And come pick you up when its ready to go. I also want to add that my wife also feels comfortable going to Slater's. She has told me on several past occasions that she feels confident about the repairs they recommend to her. And is satisfied that when she goes to Slater's she is told the truth about what needs to be done to her car. . In the past at other auto repair shops my wife always felt like she was being fed a line of B.S.(because she is a woman) and then overcharged for car repairs (which may or may not have been necessary to begin with). I'm sure other women have encountered that same type of experience with other repair shops themselves. Because of her positive experience with Slater's she has also recommended them to her other family members and her friends. My experience today is a good example. I went to Slater's with a squeak in the front end of my vehicle that has been driving my wife and I both crazy. I told them at the counter what I was hearing in my cars front end. At that time Slater came out to the parking lot and while I rocked the vehicle to force it to make the noise Slater crawled around under the front end until he found the location of the squeak. A little shot of lube and it was done, and I was on my way. No fuss, no muss, and no charge. And I certainly can't say that about many of the other shops that I have dealt with in the past. This is what I recommended to everyone. Go here to get your vehicle fixed at a reasonable price and in a reasonable time frame by honest and friendly people.
