I was recommended here by someone on Next Door. From the moment I arrived I felt nothing but good vibes. I was there because of a sunroof leak. They took me right in and had me out in less than 2 hours. Me and the owner had a nice conversation about cars and business. They are the Mustang Masters! True passionate professionals. They enjoy what they do and you will enjoy the results. I was ready to sell my mustang because the front end was loud, handled poorly, wearing the tires, and I just didn't enjoy driving it any more. They made some suggestions and replaced the struts, new tires, an alignment, and up graded brake package. It's a new car that I once again enjoy driving. Can't thank them enough!

I took my truck into a Brake Check and a Goodyear some six months back or so. They both preached that I needed to change my brakes out immediately. Took it to Slater's today and had my alignment done. Also asked Mike if he would check the brakes as well. Mike Kule at the desk was honest and told me I had 10-15% left. I shop and spend my money with businesses that are upfront and honest. I live in Tomball but will make the drive out just to have any work done in the future. Thanks Mike and the crew. Stan

Cool waiting room with very nice admin. They no longer do routine oil changes, but if you have time they will go buy oil and change it for you. For inspection and oil change; If you leave your vehicle before lunch, plan to pickup towards closing. Great service and people if you're not in a hurry.

When I had a water pump problem 6 years ago Slater fixed it it still working fine and I have brought it to him since was small repairs... Absolutely wonderful!!! I took my car to Slater's after being told by another mechanic that my car was on its last leg and to fix it, it would cost me upwards of $1600. Slater personally took me into the garage and showed me what the other mechanics were saying verses what was true. The price to fix what was actually wrong was less than half of the other guys and that included an alignment and an oil change with a high mileage filter. This is a mechanic you can trust, he will show you what he is doing and why and how to maintain your vehicle properly! More than 5 stars!!!!

Honest and competent. My son was visiting from Austin this weekend when his pickup started running rough. I'd used Slater's before, and they were open on Saturday so we took the truck in. They got him back on the road (spark plug wire burned through) the same day. No drama, no oversell, just fixed what was broken.

I have been coming to Slater's since I moved into the area in 2009. I've had nothing but Great experiences with Slater's Auto Works. They've always been up front and fair when quoting prices to me. I'm not sure why people are giving negative reviews but I know that I'm my personal experiences I've never been dissatisfied with the quality of work here. You may find lower prices at other shops, but the quality of work you get will always be equal to what you pay. I will continue to use Slater's and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for quality work at a fair price.
